Edward H. Kusmierczyk, 80, of Groveland, FL formerly from Lancaster, NY, passed away on July 26, 2021.
Ed was born on October 21,1940 in Lackawanna, NY to the late John and Mary (Granica). He graduated Burgard High School in 1958. He attended night school at the University of Buffalo and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He proudly served in the United States Army for two years and was awarded Soldier of the Month. He worked as a rigor/welder at Bethlehem Steel. He later became a New York State Trooper in 1970 and was promoted to First Sergeant where he retired after 26 years of service. Upon retirement, Ed served as board President of the Buffalo City Mission for 6 years. At the age of 70, he was ordained an Anglican Priest with St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in N. Tonawanda, NY. Ed was a beloved husband of Georgia (Rouse). Ed is survived by his son, Keith & Sandra (Daugherty) of Harrisburg, PA. and his daughter, Dawn (Paul) of Groveland, FL. Grandfather of Joshua & Virginia (Cunningham) of Linglestown, PA, Kaleb & Alexis (Harbour) of Fayetteville, PA, and Levi (Paul) of Groveland, FL. He was preceeded in death by his brother John. He will be missed by his sisters Irene and Mary Jane (Kroll), sister-in-law Diane (Koralewski). Uncle to 1 nephew and 6 nieces and Great Uncle to 3 nephews and 5 nieces.
