BATAVIA CHAPTER
Terry Lee House, 77, of Cicero, passed away Friday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of West Genesee High School and attended Drew University in New Jersey. He was a NYS trooper for 26 years. Following retirement, he was the director of the auto racing sponsorship program at Wheels Discount Auto Supply. A member of the Syracuse Corvette Club, his Corvette was his pride and joy. He was also a very talented mechanic and enjoyed restoring Packards. He loved his Wheaton terriers, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and neighborhood friends.
Terry was predeceased in 2009 by his wife, the former Suzanne Dunning; parents, Kenneth and Alice House; and brother, Wayne House. Surviving are his son, Jason; grandchildren, Corah and Michaiah; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister, Judy Swift. Services will be Thursday, February 10 at 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Face masks are required.
