Message from NYSPIA Member Eric Lunser- Special Olympics/NYC Marathon

 Fellow NYSPIA Members,

The Special Olympics empowers athletes with intellectual disabilities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy through sports training and to compete in athletic competition. Since my first Law Enforcement Torch Run almost twenty years ago in Massena, I have been supporting the Special Olympics. 
For the past two years I have organized Special Olympics events in Orange County.  This year I was given an opportunity to raise money for the Special Olympics and at the same time cross something off my bucket list.  Please help me get across the donation finish line so I can get to the New York City Marathon starting line.
